Who we are
Abingdon Plumbing & Heating Ltd, company number 00000000 (demo) operates plumber-demo.etherasites.uk. You can contact us at [email protected] or on 07700 900 214. Our address for correspondence is Unit 4, Nuffield Way (demo address), Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 1RL.
We are a small business and are not currently required to register with the Information Commissioner's Office. If that changes we will add the registration number here.
What we collect, and why
If you fill in the contact form we receive the details you type into it — typically your name, email address, phone number, postcode and your message. We use them for one thing: to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to do the work. The lawful basis is legitimate interest (answering an enquiry you started) and, once you engage us, performance of a contract.
If you call or email us directly we keep that correspondence for the same reason.
We do not buy contact details, we do not sell yours, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
Analytics and spam protection
This site currently runs no analytics at all. If that changes we will use Umami, which is cookie-free and cannot follow you to another website, and this page will be updated before it goes live.
The contact form uses a hidden field to catch automated spam. No third-party CAPTCHA is loaded.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry passes through our website host and our email provider, both of which act as processors on our instructions. Where we need another trade to quote part of a job, we will tell you before we pass anything on.
Our website and the enquiry it sends are hosted in the UK or the EU — never in the United States.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted after twelve months. Records of work we have done are kept for six years, because HMRC and our insurers require it.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Email [email protected] and we will answer within one month. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
